The Canadian Parliament passed the Uniform Currency Act in April 1871,[9] tying up loose ends as to the currencies of the various provinces and replacing them with a common Canadian dollar.

However, the Hanging Man Forex pattern occurs after bullish trends and signalizes that the trend is reversing. As a result, the Hanging Man candle pattern is used by traders to open short trades.

To verify the actual traded prices, you can add a ‘bid’ or ‘ask’ price overlay to the chart on our trading platform by clicking on ‘Add Study’ at the lower left of the chart and selecting the 'Price Overlay'. For example, if the portfolio is $10 million, then a 5% stake is $500,000. Assume the hedge fund bought Apple Inc. (AAPL) when it was trading at $100, and now it is trading at $200. Assuming all other stocks didn't move (not likely to actually happen, but for demonstration purposes), the position is now worth $1 million, the rest of the portfolio is worth $9.5 million, so the total portfolio is $10.5 million. APPL represents 9.5% of the portfolio ($1 million divided by $10.5 million). A 9.5% allocation is much more than 5%, so shares would be sold to reduce the allocation back to 5%, which is $525,000 (5% of $10.5 million).
BITSTAMP:BTCUSD Before you BUY! As i see more traders are adopting the hype of a "SURE" breakout to the upside, I just wanted to make a very quick reminder to crack the current situation. Not based on my own gut feeling or my own understanding, but to the fact that Speculators have loaded this range with enough supply to send it lower. Check the chart for their...
How much each pip is worth is called the "pip value." For any pair where the USD is listed second in the currency pair, the above-mentioned pip values apply. If the USD is listed first, the pip value may be slightly different. To find the pip value of the USD/CHF for example, divide the normal pip value (mentioned above) by the current USD/CHF exchange rate. For example, a micro lot is worth $0.10/0.9435 = $0.1060, where 0.9435 is the current price of the pair and subject to change. For JPY pairs (USD/JPY), go through this same process, but then multiply by 100. For a more detailed explanation, see Calculating Pip Value for Different Forex Pairs and Account Currencies.

Cable (GBP/USD), or sterling, also suffers from relatively poor liquidity and this is in part due to its higher pip value (U.S. dollars) and the relatively Euro-centric basis of U.K. trade. Sterling shares many of the same trading characteristics of Swissy outlined just above, but Cable will also react sharply to U.K. fundamental data as well as to U.S. news. Sterling's price action will also display extreme one-way tendencies during larger moves, as traders caught on the wrong side chase the illiquid market to the extremes.
