If your account is funded in another currency you would have to re-calculate the 1 pip payouts on any transaction. Fortunately rather than having to use a calculator every time, all you have to do is place a trade and the math is worked out in your trading platform. So calculations are not needed, just do some demo trades to see how the values change on any pair and look to see how the profit and loss fluctuates.
Please support this idea with LIKE if you find it useful. Initiate Short. Entry - 1550.11 TP1 - 1531.27 TP2 - 1524.84 SL - 1556.31 Reason: Rising wedge plus rejection by Ichi Cloud resistance. An ascending triangle can be seen in the US Dollar Index below. Leading on from the existing uptrend, there is a period of consolidation that forms the ascending triangle. Traders can once again measure the vertical distance at the beginning of the triangle formation and use it at the breakout to forecast the take profit level. In this example, a rather tight stop can be placed at the recent swing low to mitigate downside risk.
Currency prices are constantly moving, so the trader may decide to hold the position overnight. The broker will rollover the position, resulting in a credit or debit based on the interest rate differential between the Eurozone and the U.S. If the Eurozone has an interest rate of 4% and the U.S. has an interest rate of 3%, the trader owns the higher interest rate currency because they bought EUR. Therefore, at rollover, the trader should receive a small credit. If the EUR interest rate was lower than the USD rate then the trader would be debited at rollover.

When you take a look through the possible currency pairings available at any Forex Broker you will find a figure presented as a percentage. So for example if the pairing you have chosen to base your Forex trade around has a payout percentage of let’s say 81%, then if your chosen currency increases in value at the expiry time of your trade for every 100.00 you have placed on that trade you will be paid out 181.00.
Before taking any Replay results seriously, account for commissions, make sure the results don’t include re-do trades or days where you knew what happened, and also make sure that real market would have likely given you all the winning trades the simulator did. For example, you make a simulator trade with a 10,000 share position size and the simulator gives it to you, but the stock typically only has 100 or 200 shares at each price level. The foreign exchange ("forex" or "FX") currency market is not traded on a regulated exchange like stocks and commodities. Rather, the market consists of a network of financial institutions and retail trading brokers which each have their own individual hours of operation. Since most participants trade between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in their local time zone, these times are used as the market open and close times, respectively.
